New York Rangers defenseman Ryan Lindgren suffered an apparent leg injury in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. He took an awkward fall in the second period following a hit from Islanders forward Jean-Gabriel Pageau and couldn't put weight on his left leg. The hardworking blue-liner had an assist in 13.06 minutes of action before exiting the game. It looks like Lindgren is facing another spell on the sidelines after previously missing two games this season. He has totaled an underwhelming 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) in 66 appearances, but Lindgren's impact defensively is hugely important. The 26-year-old leads all defensemen on the team with a plus-19 rating and has registered 100 hits and 88 blocks.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
