6 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Robinson Cano (quad) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. The Mets gave Cano a few days to rest, but the left quad injury didn't improve at all. This is Cano's second time landing on the injured list in the last three weeks. Adeiny Hechavarria will cover second base and bat seventh versus righty Jeff Hoffman on Sunday. Hechavarria has been surprisingly decent with the bat and could be worth looking at while Cano is sidelined.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
