Rob Gronkowski Plans To Keep Playing
4 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent tight end Rob Gronkowski said that he plans to play for another season. "I'm back, man!" Gronkowski said. "I will be back playing football, man. I love the game of football. I loved playing last year. I had a great time." The future Hall of Famer had 45 catches for 623 yards and seven touchdowns in 16 regular season games in 2020 after coming out of retirement to rejoin quarterback Tom Brady in Tampa. He had six catches for 67 yards and two touchdowns in the Super Bowl win over the Chiefs. The 31-year-old will be a free agent next week, but it'd be surprising if he didn't stick with the Bucs and Brady. While Gronk is no longer in his prime as an elite fantasy tight end, he should at least have low-end TE1 value if he remains healthy with Brady tossing him the pigskin.
