Rob Gronkowski, Giovani Bernard Miss Practice Wednesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Rob Gronkowski (ribs) and running back Giovani Bernard (knee) both missed practice on Wednesday, according to head coach Bruce Arians. X-rays on Gronk came back negative, so he's expected to face his former team, the New England Patriots, on Sunday night in Week 4. As long as he gets in a practice by the end of the week, Gronkowski will remain a solid TE1 in fantasy. Bernard is day-to-day with an MCL sprain suffered in Week 3. With Tampa playing from behind multiple scores against the Los Angeles Rams, he caught nine passes for 51 yards and a touchdown. The 29-year-old needs the Bucs to be chasing points in order to see that kind of workload with Leonard Fournette and Ronald Jones II handling early downs. And Bernard is no lock to play this Sunday night.
