San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman (hamstring) suffered a Grade 1 hamstring strain in practice on Friday and will be out at least a week, according to head coach Kyle Shanahan. Sherman will not play in the preseason opener this Thursday against the Cowboys. It's not a good start for an aging cornerback that played in only nine games in 2017 -- his first year not playing a full season in his career. The 30-year-old is expected to bolster a San Fran secondary this season, but he must stay healthy in order to do so.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
