The Baltimore Orioles traded centerfielder Cedric Mullins for right-handed pitching prospects Raimon Gomez, Anthony Nunez, and Chandler Marsh. Gomez has electric stuff with a fastball that sits near triple digits and hit 104.5 mph at one point this season, to go with a low-90s slider that can rack up a bunch of whiffs. He rounds out his arsenal with a sinker, curveball, and cutter. Consistently throwing strikes is the biggest question for the 23-year-old, with 20-grade command. He owns a 4.63 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and a 30.4% strikeout rate in 35 innings, mostly in relief between Low-A and High-A this season. Gomez induces a ton of weak contact and a healthy rate of groundball rate at 52.3% this year. However, his walk rate is half of his strikeout rate at 15.8%. He profiles as a reliever due to this flaw, but he has the upside to be one of the nastier arms in the future.--Kyle McCarthy
