4 years agoThe New England Patriots re-signed veteran kicker Nick Folk on Monday and also signed rookie defensive lineman Michael Barnett. Rookie kicker Justin Rohrwasser has struggled in training camp, so the Pats are bringing in Folk to create some competition. The 35-year-old Folk made 14 of his 17 field-goal attempts in seven games for New England last year, including his lone try from 50-plus yards. He has an 80.4 percent success rate in his career over 12 seasons. If the Patriots offense shows some life with quarterback Cam Newton taking over for Tom Brady, there could be some fleeting fantasy value for Folk if he takes over for Rohrwasser.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
