Yoshinobu Yamamoto Strikes Out Nine on Tuesday
Yoshinobu Yamamoto tossed a gem in a 4-3 win in 10 innings over the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday. Yamamoto threw seven innings of scoreless ball while allowing just one hit, walking two, and striking out nine. He had to settle for a no-decision, however, as the Los Angeles bullpen was not able to hold onto a 1-0 lead after he departed. Yamamoto has been dominant over 10 starts this season, posting a 5-3 record, 1.86 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 68 strikeouts over 58 innings of work. With a road date against the Cleveland Guardians up next for the ace, Yamamoto remains a must-start in fantasy whenever he takes the mound.Source: MLB.com
Los Angeles Dodgers right-hander Hayden Birdsong Picks Up Win on Tuesday
Hayden Birdsong turned in an excellent start in a 3-2 win over the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday. Birdsong allowed just one unearned run over five innings of work while giving up five hits, walking none, and posting four strikeouts. The young hurler is putting together an excellent second season in the big leagues, with a 2-0 record, 1.91 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and 29 strikeouts over 28 1/3 innings of work. Birdsong will have a tougher test in his next start, which comes against the red-hot Detroit Tigers on Monday.Source: MLB.com
San Francisco Giants right-hander Riley Greene Homers, Doubles, Drives in Four on Tuesday
Riley Greene had a huge game in his team's 5-4 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday. Greene went 3-for-4 with a double, a homer, and four RBI to help lead his team to the win. The veteran outfielder gave Detroit a 4-0 lead with his two-run homer in the third inning, a missile that had an exit velocity of 108.3 MPH. Greene is off to a fast start this season, hitting .286 with 10 doubles, 12 homers, 27 runs, 34 RBI, and one steal. He is well on his way to a career year, hitting in the middle of a dangerous Detroit lineup.Source: MLB.com
Detroit Tigers outfielder Adrian Houser Tosses Gem on Tuesday
Adrian Houser notched a quality start in a 1-0 win over the Seattle Mariners on Tuesday. Houser threw six innings of shutout ball while allowing two hits and walking three with two strikeouts to earn the win. It was the 2025 debut for Houser, who wasted little time getting acclimated to his new team after the Texas Rangers released him earlier in the week. Houser will hope for another chance to show what he can do in the Chicago rotation.Source: MLB.com
Chicago White Sox right-hander Logan Henderson Fans Seven In Scoreless Outing Tuesday
Logan Henderson continued to make a good impression in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Orioles. Henderson pitched five innings, allowing no runs on two hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. The 23-year-old has made two consecutive starts for the Brewers and three on the season, going 3-0 with a 1.69 ERA, a 0.81 WHIP, and a 12.94 K/9 rate in 16 IP. Henderson showed high strikeout upside with low ERA's throughout his minor-league career and could be a potential fantasy option if he can continue to translate his skills in the big leagues. Should he stick around, his next scheduled start would be an excellent matchup at the Pirates.Source: MLB.com
Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Spencer Strider Scuffles In Return To Mound Tuesday

Aaron Judge Hits 16th Homer Of Season Tuesday
Aaron Judge continued to be a fantasy juggernaut in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers. Judge went 2-for-4 with a single, a two-run home run, and a strikeout. He also stole a base. The 33-year-old snuck an eighth-inning Caleb Boushley sweeper just over the right-field corner wall for his 16th long ball of the season, putting him just behind Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Schwarber for the most in baseball. Judge has once again been one of fantasy's best hitters, slashing .403/.491/.762 with 43 RBI and four stolen bases in 214 plate appearances.Source: MLB.com
New York Yankees outfielder Walker Buehler Ejected in Tuesday's Return
Walker Buehler (shoulder) only made it 2 1/3 innings in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Mets. Buehler got tossed in the top of the third inning for arguing a strike with the home-plate umpire. He allowed no hits and two walks with four strikeouts on 52 pitches. He also hit two batters. The 30-year-old was making his return from the 15-day injured list, so fantasy managers may not have started him for what ended up being an abbreviated outing. Buehler has had a solid season overall, going 4-1 with a 4.00 ERA, a 1.19 WHIP, and an 8.25 K/9 rate in seven starts and 36 IP. His next scheduled start will be against a slumping Orioles lineup.Source: Ian Browne - MLB.com
Boston Red Sox starting pitcher Bobby Witt Jr. Knocks in Run, Extends HR Drought To 12 Games
Bobby Witt Jr. finished 1-for-4 with an RBI single and a pair of strikeouts in the team's 3-2 loss to the San Francisco Giants on Tuesday. It's the first RBI since May 12 for Witt, who has slumped of late. Witt owned a season-high .920 OPS on May 10, but he has gone a meager 7-for-35 with eight strikeouts and two walks in nine games since then. While the two-time 30-home run hitter is also amid a 12-game HR drought, there's no reason to fret. Witt's still slashing a superb .301/.367/.503 through 218 plate appearances. Although Giants catcher Patrick Bailey threw him out on an attempted steal Tuesday, he still ranks near the top of the majors with 16 SBs. He will look to bust out of his mini-slump in Wednesday's game against Giants ace Logan Webb.Source: ESPN
Kansas City Royals shortstop Will Warren Strikes Out 10, Earns Win Tuesday
Will Warren turned in a solid start in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Rangers. Warren pitched 5 2/3 innings, allowing no runs on five hits and a walk with a season-high 10 strikeouts. The 25-year-old has had a good season overall through his first 10 starts, going 3-2 with a 4.05 ERA, a 1.29 WHIP, and an 11.57 K/9 rate in 46 2/3 IP. His next start will be a favorable matchup against a weak Rockies lineup, but he will have to face them in Coors Field. He has allowed hard contact this season but has done a good job keeping the ball on the ground, so he would be a safer start in points leagues.Source: MLB.com
New York Yankees starting pitcher Chase DeLauter Homers in Rehab Game on Tuesday
Chase DeLauter (abdomen) went 1-for-4 with a walk and a two-run home run on Tuesday for the ACL Guardians. The 23-year-old is there on a rehab assignment, hitting just .182 (4-for-22), but now with two home runs in eight games. Once the assignment is complete, the Guardians' second-ranked prospect will likely head to Triple-A, and if he can manage to stay healthy, a debut with the big league club could happen later this year. Maintaining health has been an issue for him, though, totaling just 96 games over the last two seasons due to multiple injuries. The former first-round draft pick has performed well when on the field, owning a .310 batting average and .893 OPS during his minor league career. With low strikeout rates and the ability to hit for both contact and power, the 6-foot-3 slugger could be an impact fantasy player in the second half of the season, so fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression.Source: MiLB.com
Cleveland Guardians outfield prospect Jacob Wilson Exits Early Tuesday With Left-Forearm Contusion
Jacob Wilson (forearm) left Tuesday's game against the Angels in the bottom of the fifth inning with a left-forearm contusion, per MLB.com's Martin Gallegos. Wilson was hit by a Kyle Hendricks pitch in the third inning. He stayed in the game but was pinch-hit for by Max Schuemann in the fifth inning. Fantasy managers should look for further news after the game, but the fact that he was able to stay in the game temporarily may mean he avoided anything serious. The 23-year-old is having a great offensive season so far, slashing .341/.381/.478 with five home runs, 26 RBI, and four stolen bases in 195 plate appearances.Source: Martin Gallegos - X.com
Athletics shortstop Jesus Luzardo Fans 10 in Tuesday's Win
Jesus Luzardo continued his excellent season in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Rockies. Luzardo pitched six innings, allowing one run on two hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts. The 27-year-old is now healthy and is having a bounce-back season, going 5-0 with a 1.95 ERA, a 1.15 WHIP, and a 10.05 K/9 rate in 10 starts and 60 IP. Six of those starts have been quality starts and two of them have come with at least 10 strikeouts. His next scheduled matchup will be a middling one at the Athletics in Sacramento, but Luzardo has been too good to distrust in any matchup.Source: MLB.com
Philadelphia Phillies starting pitcher Randy Arozarena Goes Hitless, Strikes Out Twice on Tuesday
Randy Arozarena finished 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox used five pitchers to combine for the shutout victory over the Mariners. It was the second straight 0-for-4 outing for Arozarena, who has nevertheless posted quality numbers in 2025. The 30-year-old has amassed 195 plate appearances and batted .230/.364/.404 with six home runs and nine stolen bases, putting him on track for a fifth consecutive 20-20 campaign. He and the Mariners have a tough matchup Wednesday against White Sox right-hander Shane Smith, owner of a stellar 2.05 ERA across 48 1/3 innings.Source: ESPN
Seattle Mariners outfielder Carter Jensen Logs Four-Hit Performance on Tuesday
Carter Jensen went 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, an RBI, and one run scored on Tuesday for Double-A Northwest Arkansas. The Royals' third-ranked prospect has been a streaky hitter so far this season, and with a slugging percentage of .310, the 21-year-old hasn't had many extra-base hits to this point, with Tuesday's being his first hits for extra bases since a home run back on May 3. The former third-round draft pick ranks as the 88th overall prospect in baseball with an ETA of 2026 for a major league debut per MLB.com, and although he has the potential to hit for some power, he doesn't need to be stashed in dynasty leagues at this point. Jensen will also have to compete with Royals' second-ranked prospect Blake Mitchell for starting duties in the coming years if they both remain in Kansas City.Source: MiLB.com
