Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons attended the first day of voluntary OTAs on Monday despite the All-Pro seeking a new contract with the organization. Parsons is entering the final year of his rookie deal after collecting 256 tackles (172 solo), 52.5 sacks, nine forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, 41 run stuffs, and nine pass deflections in 63 career games. Needless to say, the four-time Pro Bowler is due for a nice payday, as he ranks outside the top 50 edge rushers in average salary ($4.27 million). His presence at the voluntary portion of the offseason is promising for the two sides potentially reaching a deal, and head coach Brian Schottenheimer said, "It means a lot to me" for Parsons to show up.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller
