Randy Arozarena Goes Hitless, Strikes Out Twice on Tuesday
Randy Arozarena finished 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts in Tuesday's 1-0 loss to the Chicago White Sox. The White Sox used five pitchers to combine for the shutout victory over the Mariners. It was the second straight 0-for-4 outing for Arozarena, who has nevertheless posted quality numbers in 2025. The 30-year-old has amassed 195 plate appearances and batted .230/.364/.404 with six home runs and nine stolen bases, putting him on track for a fifth consecutive 20-20 campaign. He and the Mariners have a tough matchup Wednesday against White Sox right-hander Shane Smith, owner of a stellar 2.05 ERA across 48 1/3 innings.
