New York Mets outfielder
Jesse Winker (oblique) is on schedule to begin a rehab assignment on Sunday for High-A Brooklyn, reports Andrew Tredinnick. Winker took batting practice at Citi Field on Thursday and is eligible to be activated off the injured list on July 4. Winker has been on the injured list since early May with an oblique strain and will likely play a handful of rehab games and return to the Mets lineup to be a platoon-type contributor against right-handed pitching. Winker had a nice bounce-back season in 2024, where he slashed .253/.360/.405 with 14 home runs, 63 runs scored, and 58 RBI with a career-high 14 stolen bases.

Cleveland Guardians right-hander
Shane Bieber (elbow) has been ramping up his activities over the past few days, throwing a 20-pitch bullpen on Tuesday and throwing another one on Thursday, and "felt really good," manager
Stephen Vogt said. At this point, it remains unclear whether Bieber will resume his rehab assignment or if further preparation is necessary. Bieber was ramping up in early June in Double-A Akron and the rookie-level Arizona Complex League before experiencing minor elbow soreness, which he has seemingly overcome after a few weeks off, and has now followed that up with a few bullpen sessions. Fantasy managers will want to continue to stash Bieber on their injured list spots, as he is a former Cy Young award winner with a career 3.22 ERA in 843 innings pitched and could contribute over the last month of the season and into the playoffs.

Miami Marlins catching prospect
Joe Mack went 2-for-4 with a home run during their contest against Triple-A Nashville on Thursday evening. Over his last three games with Triple-A Jacksonville, Mack has tallied at least one hit in each game and gone 5-for-13 with two extra-base hits. Before this surge at the plate, Mack went 6-for-44 during his first 12 games of the month at Triple-A. Mack opened the campaign with Double-A but was eventually promoted to Triple-A. Through his first 47 games at the top level of the minor leagues, Mack has struggled at times, holding a .223/.291/.320 slash line with a 51:5 K:BB. However, it appears the 22-year-old is starting to find his footing. If the No. 8-ranked prospect in the system can continue to find his swing, he could earn a call to Miami in the second half of the season.

Tampa Bay Rays left-handed pitching prospect
Ian Seymour tossed six innings of one-run ball en route to picking up the victory over Triple-A Memphis on Thursday evening. In this outing, Seymour struck out five batters and allowed only six hits and no walks. This was Seymour's fourth-straight start earning a victory at Triple-A. During these four outings, Seymour has logged 25 2/3 innings of work to the tune of a 1.78 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP. During this stretch, the left-hander has struck out 21 batters and allowed only five walks. Seymour made his MLB debut earlier in June as well, but only made one appearance. He was deployed in a long relief role and logged two innings of one-run ball (unearned run) en route to earning a victory. Given his elite production in Triple-A this season, Seymour should be in the mix to return to Tampa Bay in the second half.

Cincinnati Reds infield prospect
Sal Stewart continued his impressive start to the season, going 1-for-4 with his eighth home run of the campaign in their contest against Double-A Pensacola on Thursday evening. After spending the 2024 campaign with High-A, the Reds gave Stewart the green light to open the campaign with Double-A Chattanooga, and he has not disappointed. Through 69 games with Double-A, the No. 3-ranked prospect in the system has posted an elite .324/.389/.488 slash line with 18 doubles, eight round-trippers, 13 stolen bases, 41 RBI, and a 46:22 K:BB. Last summer with High-A, Stewart held a .279/.391/.454 line with 23 doubles and eight home runs. Even though Stewart is still a year away from his potential MLB debut, he is worth keeping a close eye on, as he is quickly ascending prospect boards. He could be in the mix to earn a late-season taste of Triple-A as well.

Kansas City Royals catching prospect
Carter Jensen hit his first home run at the Triple-A level on Thursday evening during their contest against Indianapolis. In this contest, Jensen went 1-for-6 with two strikeouts. During his first two games with Triple-A Omaha, the young backstop went 0-for-9 with four strikeouts. The No. 3-ranked prospect in the Kansas City system opened the campaign with Double-A and was quite productive, posting a .292/.360/.420 slash line with nine doubles, six round-trippers, and seven stolen bases across 68 contests. Last summer, the 21-year-old held a modest .259/.359/.450 line across 125 games split between High-A and Double-A. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his progression with Triple-A as he could be in the mix for a late-season MLB debut.

Seattle Mariners infield prospect
Michael Arroyo went 2-for-4 with a home run during their contest against Double-A Amarillo on Thursday evening. This was Arroyo's first home run at the Double-A level. Arroyo made his Double-A debut earlier this week, alongside fellow top prospect
Lazaro Montes. After going 0-for-2 with three walks in his debut at the level, Arroyo has gone on to post two straight multi-hit games. Earlier in the campaign, the No. 82-ranked prospect in the sport on MLB.com, posted a.269/.422/.512 slash line with 14 double and 15 round-trippers. Fantasy managers should continue to keep a close eye on the 20-year-old infielder as he could be in the mix to join Triple-A early in the 2026 season if he continues to find his footing at Double-A.

The Miami Marlins have placed first baseman
Matt Mervis (oblique) on the 7-day injured list with an oblique injury. Mervis enjoyed a hot start with the MLB club during the first month of the campaign, especially from a power perspective. Through his first 24 games in Miami, the former top prospect launched seven home runs and held a solid .806 OPS. However, over his next 18 games, he posted a .111/.200/.156 line with no long balls and would eventually get optioned to Triple-A. With Jacksonville, Mervis has begun to find his footing, posting a .246/.306/.646 slash line with three doubles, one triple, seven home runs, and 18 RBI across 17 games. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he could be in the mix to return to Miami in the second half if he recovers well from this injury.

New York Mets first baseman
Pete Alonso went 3-for-4 with a double and two singles in his team's 4-0 win against the visiting Atlanta Braves. He also scored a run, drove one in, and broke an eight-game stretch with at least one strikeout. Alonso had been scuffling at the plate a bit, with two runs, a double, a homer, an RBI, and a .190 batting average through 11 games, but has logged a hit in three straight since, including Thursday's huge performance. After a cold spell in May, the Polar Bear is back at it again in June -- despite the minor slump -- boasting a superb .301/.381/.581 slash line. Another 40-home run season is certainly within reach for the 30-year-old, and his current .292 average would be a marked improvement on his previous personal-best (.271).

Detroit Tigers second baseman
Zach McKinstry went 3-for-4 with a two-run triple in his team's 8-0 win against the visiting Athletics. He also singled, doubled, scored a run, and swiped a bag. McKinstry did it all on Thursday and has rebounded nicely from a May in which he hit .200. He's been much more productive since the calendar flipped to June, going 21-for-69 (.304) with a double, a long ball, five (!) triples, six steals, and ten runs scored. The Central Michigan alum's BABIP is wildly high by his standards (.347) and could come back down to Earth a bit with a batting line nearly 20 points higher than his .258 xBA (.277). Still, it's worth noting he's hitting more line drives and pulling the ball more often in 2025.

Detroit Tigers second baseman
Gleyber Torres went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 8-0 win against the Athletics. He added a walk and scored twice. The Venezuelan native blasted his eighth homer of the season off A's pitcher
J.T. Ginn in the bottom of the seventh to give Detroit a 5-0 lead. Torres has been a spark plug near the top of the order in his first stint with the Tigers, slashing a crisp .281/.386/.430 through 69 contests. Aside from a sterling .297 xBA (91st percentile), he's exhibiting elite plate discipline and sporting the top chase rate in the league (16.4%). Furthermore, the 28-year-old has drawn more free passes (41) than strikeouts (36).

Minnesota Twins outfielder
Trevor Larnach went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 10-1 win against the Seattle Mariners. He also singled, scored twice, and was credited with another RBI on an error. The former first-round pick launched a majestic two-run missile -- his twelfth of the season -- that traveled 421 feet and scored teammate
Byron Buxton. It put the Twins on the board first and gave them a lead they'd never look back from. Larnach has been effective since returning from a bruised hand a few days ago -- posting two hits in three of five contests -- and is enjoying his best month of 2025. The 28-year-old is slashing a solid .278/.354/.500 in June, and has been better overall since the start of May (.273).

Cleveland Guardians starting pitcher
Tanner Bibee yielded three hits and three runs (two earned) over six innings in his team's 6-0 home loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. He issued two free passes and struck out seven. Bibee pitched well enough to earn a win, with all the damage against him coming in the top of the third inning when the Jays nickel and dimed him to push across three runs. However, he fell to 4-8 as his offense failed him -- a theme in his recent thread of starts. The Cal State Fullerton product hasn't notched a win in six straight outings despite allowing three earned runs or fewer and lasting six innings or more in four of them. He'll carry a solid 3.80 ERA and 1.18 WHIP into a tough road matchup with the Chicago Cubs his next time out.

Minnesota Twins starting pitcher
Simeon Woods Richardson pitched five innings and allowed no runs in Thursday's 10-1 win against the visiting Seattle Mariners. He issued one free pass, gave up two hits, and struck out six to improve to 3-4 through 12 appearances (11 starts). The 24-year-old tossed a scoreless outing for the second time in his last three starts, but he's stuck on one quality start and has gone six innings in just two of his trips to the mound. Woods Richardson sports a 4.63 ERA and 1.39 WHIP after the solid performance, and hasn't pitched as poorly as those numbers portend. He is still unlikely to be worth starting, but has a favorable draw with the Miami Marlins on the schedule next week.

Arizona Diamondbacks shortstop prospect
Jordan Lawlar (hamstring) is reportedly set to miss at least a week of action with a hamstring injury. Lawlar was lifted after his at-bat in the first inning on Wednesday and appears to have tweaked the same hamstring that he had been managing recently. Lawlar has again been crushing Triple-A pitching in June, hitting .300/425/.633 with four homers and five stolen bases in 60 at-bats. Further updates regarding his injury should be known tomorrow.
