Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (quadricep, calf) will suit up for the Packers in Week 12 after practicing in a limited fashion on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Jacobs was left off the injury report for their matchup with the San Francisco 49ers this week, and he could have some success against a 49ers' run defense that is much more susceptible. The 49ers are just 17th in EPA per rush attempt this season and since Week 6, have the second-highest missed-tackle rate since Week 6 and a middle-of-the-road success rate allowed (13th). Jacobs has been reliant on volume for the most part and that's been readily available to him this season in Green Bay. He'll be incredibly important for the Packers if they are to have success, so Jacobs could be in line for solid production as a back end RB1 for fantasy purposes.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has been shaky to say the least over the past few weeks and he'll look to steady the ship as the Packers play host to the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Love has thrown just one touchdown pass in the past three games after starting his season with five consecutive games of multiple touchdown passes. The Packers are going to need Love to find his footing if the Packers are going to make some noise in the NFC, but the 49ers represent a stiff test. San Francisco has given up the sixth-fewest passing yards per game and the fourth-least passing touchdowns allowed. Love is just a high-end QB2 this week against the 49ers but has the upside to produce in a tough matchup.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs has had a tough go of things over the last couple of weeks, but he looks to right the ship as the Packers square off with the visiting San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Despite running the most routes per dropback each week for the Packers, Doubs hasn't had the production come with that time on the field as he has just seven targets, five receptions, and 45 receiving yards in his last two games. It hasn't been as fruitful of a time for the Packers' passing game as quarterback Jordan Love hasn't thrown for multiple touchdown passes in his last three games. With Doubs' falling production and the stingy 49ers pass defense set to take on the Packers, Doubs should be considered a mid-range flex play at best with a lower ceiling and a somewhat-shaky floor.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson is looking to build off the best game of his 2024 season as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. Watson amassed four receptions and 150 receiving yards and was hugely efficient for the Packers in their win over the Chicago Bears in Week 11. Besides that outburst, Watson has been kept relatively in check by defenses and hasn't been given a full complement of snaps and routes as he's rotated with Dontayvion Wicks and Jayden Reed at times. Still, Watson hasn't been able to make the most of his opportunities, which makes him a volatile fantasy asset to start. That puts Watson squarely into flex territory in a tough matchup with the 49ers in Week 12.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft looks to get out of his production slump as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. If you've started Kraft in fantasy football over the past couple of weeks, you've no doubt been disappointed. Just before the Packers' bye in Week 10, Kraft was held to four catches for 34 yards on six targets. Last week after the team's bye, Kraft was completely stymied with just one target and no catches. The Packers' offense has been in a funk lately with quarterback Jordan Love not throwing for double-digit touchdowns in the last three games. With the Packers set to tangle with a tough pass defense in the 49ers, Kraft is in the streaming category of fantasy tight ends this week, where you're hoping for a touchdown to make starting him worth it.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

The Green Bay Packers defense and special teams unit got a bit of an upgrade and should now be considered a pretty good option in fantasy lineups as the Packers host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12. The 49ers will be without quarterback Brock Purdy (shoulder) as he was ruled out of Sunday's matchup due to a shoulder injury. Journeyman backup Brandon Allen will get the nod for the suddenly reeling 49ers who are looking to crawl out of a 5-5 hole on the season to reach the playoffs in the NFC. For the Packers, their defense hasn't been great over the last four games, but their three-sack and a blocked kick against the Chicago Bears were good enough to place in the top-ten for fantasy defenses. With Allen in at quarterback on the road at Lambeau Field, the Packers should get a solid upgrade to become plenty startable in Week 12.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: RotoBaller

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf, quadriceps) was limited in practice for the second straight day this week on Thursday. Jacobs was also listed with a quad injury last week but played through it on his way to 18 carries for 76 yards and his fourth rushing touchdown of the season in the win over the division-rival Chicago Bears. He also caught four of five targets for a season-best 58 yards. Jacobs' status is worth watching leading up to Sunday's contest against the visiting San Francisco 49ers, and if he's active, he should be considered a low-end RB1 that should be in most starting fantasy lineups. The 49ers defense hasn't been quite as strong in 2024 as in years past and they've allowed the ninth-most half-PPR points per game to RBs in the last three weeks. The 26-year-old has seen a strong 19.9 touches per game in his first year in Green Bay.--Keith HernandezSource: Packers.com

Green Bay Packers cornerback Jaire Alexander (knee) said on Thursday that he's dealing with a torn PCL that he suffered in the win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 8. Alexander missed the Week 9 game against the Detroit Lions. The Packers had their bye in Week 10, and Alexander played just 10 defensive snaps in last week's win over the Chicago Bears before leaving the game and not returning. He's hoping to return to the All-Pro form he had in 2020 and 2022 but doesn't know exactly when he might be back with the team. Alexander did say, though, that "I just need more than 21 days of non-contact." The veteran defensive back has missed 27 of a potential 61 regular-season games since the start of 2021, with 26 of them coming due to injury. Alexander can still be an elite corner when healthy, but Green Bay's secondary will be more vulnerable in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs (calf, quadriceps) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday due to two injuries. Jacobs played through his quad issue in the Week 11 win over the division-rival Chicago Bears, but the calf issue is a new one. The 26-year-old had another workhorse role last Sunday, seeing 22 touches for 134 scrimmage yards and a rushing score against a tough Bears defense. We'll keep a close eye on his practice status through the rest of the week, but as of right now, Jacobs should be expected to suit up this Sunday for a big NFC matchup against the visiting San Francisco 49ers. If active, Jacobs should remain a low-end RB1 choice for fantasy managers with little competition for touches in Green Bay's backfield. The former Raiders RB enters Week 12 averaging 14.4 half-PPR points, which has him tied for 15th among RBs with Jonathan Taylor.--Keith HernandezSource: ESPN.com - Rob Demovsky

Green Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that rookie running back MarShawn Lloyd (ankle, appendix, hamstring) will go on the Non-Football Injury list, which will knock him out for at least another four games. Lloyd was just activated from Injured Reserve on Monday but will now be forced to miss additional time after having an emergency appendectomy last Friday. The frustrating rookie season continues for the 23-year-old, as he's played in just one game in 2024. He'll be eligible to return in Week 16, which is the semifinals in most fantasy football leagues. Given his injury woes dating back to training camp this summer, Lloyd should only be stashed in dynasty/keeper leagues at this point. His new injury means that Chris Brooks and Emanuel Wilson will continue vying for scraps in the backfield behind starter Josh Jacobs.--Keith HernandezSource: The Athletic - Matt Schneidman

According to the NFL's Ian Rapoport, the knee injury that forced Green Bay Packers defensive back Jaire Alexander (knee) from Sunday's 20-19 win over the Chicago Bears is not considered to be serious. The 27-year-old was knocked out of the team's victory in the second half and did not return. Per Rapoport, it's a "continuation of what he's been working through," and sources said he'll be ok. Alexander was a limited participant in practice all week leading up to Sunday's outing, and he'll likely be as such ahead of Green Bay's Week 12 home tilt against the San Francisco 49ers. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye on his status, but it appears he shouldn't miss any time as of now.--Alex CiullaSource: Ian Rapoport

The Green Bay Packers' defense and special teams' unit was solid in their 20-19 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 11. The Packers sacked Bears quarterback Caleb Williams three times on the afternoon and allowed 19 points on offense, but Green Bay did not force an interception or fumble on the afternoon. Green Bay did their best work in the game's final play, as Packers' defender Karl Brooks blocked the game-winning field goal attempt from Cairo Santos. With the San Francisco 49ers coming to town in Week 12, the Packers D/ST is an incredibly risky starting unit in fantasy, given the strength of the 49ers' offense.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft was a non-factor in the Packers' 20-19 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 11. Kraft only earned just one target, a short target that was intercepted by Chicago's Terell Smith in the second quarter. The lack of involvement was felt in the Packers' passing attack which only had 17 pass attempts through the entire game. With the number of quality pass-catching options available for quarterback Jordan Love, there will be games like this by Kraft. With the Packers heading back home to host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, Kraft should be considered a low-end TE1 for fantasy football.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Romeo Doubs was very quiet in the Packers' 20-19 victory over the Chicago Bears in Week 11. Doubs only earned two targets and reeled in just one of them for 17 yards receiving. Taking a backseat in the production department to fellow wide receiver Christian Watson and running back Josh Jacobs, Doubs typically runs the most routes on the team, but with so many pass-catching options in the offense plus quarterback Jordan Love only notching 17 pass attempts, some players get a bit lost in the shuffle at times. In the Packers' next game in Week 12 against the San Francisco 49ers, Doubs is more of a low-end flex play for fantasy because of his inconsistency.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: ESPN

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Christian Watson had a career day as the Packers edged the Chicago Bears 20-19 at Soldier Field in Week 11. Watson had the biggest yardage day of his young career as he caught all four of his targets for 150 receiving yards. Watson's Week 11 was capped off by a huge 60-yard reception that led to the go-ahead touchdown plunge from quarterback Jordan Love. Even with Watson's huge day, he's still a bit hard to trust knowing that he could just go back to meager production with so many pass-catching options in Green Bay. In the Packers' next matchup against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 12, Watson is a boom-or-bust flex option for fantasy managers.--Kevin Tompkins - RotoBallerSource: ESPN
