Wednesday's contest between the Kansas City Royals and St. Louis Cardinals at Busch Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather, according to The Athletic's Katie Woo. The two teams will now play a doubleheader on Thursday. The Royals were scheduled to go with left-hander Noah Cameron on the mound on Wednesday, while being opposed by Cardinals right-hander Miles Mikolas. Fantasy managers should expect the two starting pitchers to be moved back to one of the games of the twin bill on Thursday. You'll also want to remove any other position players from both teams from your starting lineups for Wednesday's action. First base prospect Jac Caglianone was set to start in right field on Wednesday after going 0-for-5 as the designated hitter on Tuesday in his major-league debut. Cags will be looking for his first career hit in Game 1 of Thursday's doubleheader.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: The Athletic - Katie Woo

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Roki Sasaki (shoulder) was seen playing catch at Dodger Stadium ahead of Wednesday's matchup against the New York Mets. Sasaki continues to work his way back from a right shoulder impingement that has kept him sidelined for nearly a month. The right-hander has started a throwing program, but is still multiple weeks away from getting back on the mound. Sasaki figures to need a few rehab starts before being activated off the injured list. The hope is that Sasaki can return in late June or early July.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: Dodgers Nation

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder/infielder Tommy Edman is out of the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. Edman will take a seat for the second straight game. It's unclear why Edman is getting benched for the second straight game, but it doesn't appear to be injury related. Edman did end up going 0-for-2 off the bench on Tuesday. Enrique Hernandez will take over second base and bat ninth versus right-hander Griffin Canning on Wednesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: mlb.com

Los Angeles Dodgers catcher Will Smith is absent from the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the New York Mets. Smith will now sit out for the second time in this series. He has been struggling lately going 0-for-9 over his last three games, so it makes sense to rest him on Wednesday. In his absence, Dalton Rushing will start behind the plate and bat eighth versus right-hander Griffin Canning. Fantasy managers should adjust their lineups ahead of first pitch.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: mlb.com

Athletics shortstop Jacob Wilson (hip) is back in the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Minnesota Twins. Wilson makes his way back to the lineup following a one-game absence due to a neck injury he suffered on Monday. This is great news for fantasy managers as Wilson has been crushing the ball this season. He's slashing .355/.393/.504 with seven home runs and 32 RBI in 58 games. He'll cover shortstop and bat second versus right-hander Zebby Matthews on Wednesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: mlb.com

Chicago White Sox first baseman Tim Elko was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on Wednesday. Elko was recently optioned to the minors after going 5-for-31 with three homers during his first stint with the team. He'll return to the White Sox roster with Lenyn Sosa (hip) heading to the injured list. Elko has been hitting well in the minors and deserves a fair shot at the MLB level. He figures to see fairly regular playing time. On Wednesday, Elko will cover first base and bat sixth versus right-hander Sawyer Gibson Long.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: mlb.com

Detroit Tigers outfielder Kerry Carpenter (hamstring) has been scratched from the starting lineup ahead of Wednesday's game against the Chicago White Sox. It's unclear when Carpenter suffered the injury, but he has been pulled from the lineup due to hamstring tightness. Hopefully, it's only a day-to-day issue, but hamstring issues often do linger around. The Tigers should give more information on the situation soon. In the meantime, Wenceel Perez will cover right field and bat fifth versus left-hander Jared Shuster on Wednesday.--Andy Webb - RotoBallerSource: mlb.com

The Texas Rangers activated right-handed pitching prospect Kumar Rocker (shoulder) from the 15-day injured list, and he is making the start on the road at George M. Steinbrenner Field against the Tampa Bay Rays on Wednesday. Rocker is the team's No. 2 prospect, but there are several reasons why fantasy manager will want to avoid him in his first game back in the big leagues against Tampa. First, the 25-year-old Vanderbilt product only threw 53 pitches in his final minor-league rehab start, so he's unlikely to go deep in Wednesday's start. It's not like Rocker was looking great before his stint on the IL, going 1-3 with an 8.10 ERA and 1.75 WHIP with 16 K's and five walks in 20 innings over his first five starts. Rocker will be facing a Rays team that currently boasts a .700 OPS, which ranks 17th in baseball. Don't expect another repeat of Rocker's outing against Tampa on April 6 when he allowed a run in five innings.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Texas Rangers outfielder Adolis Garcia is back in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the hosting Tampa Bay Rays and right-hander Shane Baz, starting in right field and batting seventh. Garcia has endured a season-long slump in 2025 and was benched for the last four games for a "mental break." The 32-year-old Cuban slugger enters Wednesday's contest slashing just .211/.258/.372 with a .630 OPS, seven home runs, 27 RBI, 17 runs scored, five stolen bases, 11 walks and 57 strikeouts in 217 plate appearances over 57 games played. He'll return to face a pitcher in Baz with an ERA near 5.00, but fantasy managers might want to keep Garcia benched until he shows some signs of a turnaround. It doesn't help his DFS value that he's in the seven-hole, either. Garcia is hitless in just three career at-bats versus Baz.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Chicago Cubs outfielder Kyle Tucker (finger) remains out of the team's starting lineup as the series continues in D.C. on Wednesday against the hosting Washington Nationals. Seiya Suzuki is starting in right field and batting second, while Justin Turner will serve as the designated hitter again and bat eighth against Nationals left-hander MacKenzie Gore. Tucker jammed his right ring finger in Sunday's series finale against the Cincinnati Reds and will miss a second straight game. He's considered day-to-day right now, and fantasy managers should check back on Thursday to see if he's available for the series finale against the Nats. Suzuki is hitting .429 with two RBI in seven career at-bats against Gore, while Turner has hit .750 in just four at-bats against the southpaw. Tucker is having a fantastic first season in Chicago and is a must-start in fantasy when he's active.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

The Chicago White Sox announced on Wednesday that they placed infielder Lenyn Sosa (hip) on the 10-day injured list with a right hip-flexor strain and recalled infielder Tim Elko from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move. Sosa went 0-for-4 in Monday's loss to the Detroit Tigers and didn't play on Tuesday. The 25-year-old has hit .274 on the season but with just four home runs and 17 RBI for the last-place team. In his three-plus MLB seasons with the White Sox, Sosa has hit .241 as a part-time player. With Sosa now on the shelf for at least 10 days, expect Josh Rojas to see most of the playing time at the keystone in the Windy City. Given the nature of Sosa's injury, there's no guarantee he'll be ready to come off the IL when he's eligible on June 13.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Chicago White Sox

The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Wednesday that they placed right-hander Zack Wheeler on the paternity list and recalled right-handed pitching prospect Mick Abel from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move. With Wheeler away from the team for a few days, Abel will come up from the minors to make a spot start in Toronto against the Blue Jays. We knew that Wheeler wouldn't be available for the series in Canada, but he should return to the team for a very favorable matchup this weekend in Pittsburgh against the last-place Pirates. Fantasy managers will definitely want to keep Wheeler back into their starting lineups for that one. The Pirates offense is fourth-worst in baseball with a .641 OPS, while Wheeler remains a fantasy ace with an ERA under 3.00 and 94 K's in 76 innings over his 12 starts.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: Philadelphia Phillies

New York Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez (thumb) remains out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the visiting Cleveland Guardians in the Bronx. It will be Dominguez's second straight missed game after he jammed his left thumb over the weekend against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Once the inflammation in his thumb goes down, he's expected to return, possibly as early as Thursday's series finale against Cleveland. Cody Bellinger is making another start in left field and is batting cleanup, while Ben Rice is serving as the designated hitter and batting in the two-hole against Guardians right-hander Luis L. Ortiz. Bellinger has gone hitless in three career at-bats against Ortiz, while Rice has a hit and an RBI against him in two at-bats. Fantasy managers will need to keep Dominguez on their benches and check back on Thursday to see if he's back in action.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com
