Jhoan Duran Collects Ninth Save
Jhoan Duran walked and struck out a batter to secure his ninth save in Tuesday's 4-2 victory against the Tampa Bay Rays. Duran got Junior Caminero to strike out to begin the bottom of the ninth. However, he spent 14 pitches over his next two at-bats to Jonathan Aranda (single) and Chandler Simpson (ground out) before Jose Caballero flied out to send everyone home. The 27-year-old didn't have the easiest time getting through his appearance, but has pitched a scoreless outing 14 of the last 15 times he's toed the rubber. The Dominican Republic native holds a stellar 1.07 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 30:11 K:BB ratio (25 1/3 innings) and has some of the best expected metrics of his career.Source: ESPN
Minnesota Twins pitcher Jordan Romano Fires Clean Ninth Inning to Pick up Seventh Save
Jordan Romano picked up his seventh save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Atlanta Braves. The veteran was summoned in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead and needed just 11 pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side. It was a nice rebound for him after yielding three hits and three earned runs in his last appearance against the Athletics. Romano's ERA sits at a ghastly 7.65, but he's been better in May than he was in April and boasts a much more palatable 3.47 xERA. Despite the bloated statistics, he's pitching at a higher level than in 2024 -- sporting significant decreases in average exit velocity (87.9 MPH) and hard-hit rate (35.8%). Furthermore, his strikeout percentage has climbed back up to his career norms (28.7%).Source: ESPN
Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Will Vest Nails Down Seventh Save
Will Vest allowed two hits and one earned run in his team's 3-1 home win over the San Francisco Giants. Vest struck out one to lock down his seventh save of the season. The 29-year-old was called upon to protect a 3-0 lead in the top of the ninth inning and promptly yielded a Heliot Ramos single, who was able to come home a batter later when Wilmer Flores doubled him in. However, he'd mostly settle in afterward -- inducing Jung Hoo Lee and Matt Chapman into a fly-out and foul-out before punching out Willy Adames to end the threat. It was Vest's first earned run in just under a month as he's been excellent thus far, sporting a superb 1.73 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 28:9 K:BB ratio over 26 innings pitched (24 appearances).Source: ESPN
Detroit Tigers reliever Michael Conforto Blasts Third Homer
Michael Conforto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a single in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians. The Seattle native also walked and struck out in the contest. Conforto homered off Guardians pitcher Hunter Gaddis in the top of the sixth inning to increase LA's lead to 5-3 -- a 406-foot bomb that left the bat at 105.9 MPH. It was his third long ball of the season, and first since Apr. 5. The Oregon State product was abysmal in April (.123), and hasn't been much better in May (.194). Since kicking off 2025 with a .368 through the first six games, he hasn't eclipsed the .200 mark since Apr. 19.Source: ESPN

He now owns a 2.97 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts over 30 ⅓ innings. His 9.20 K/9 is a career high, showcasing increased swing-and-miss ability as he solidifies his role in the Phillies' rotation atop the NL East. O'Hearn finished 1-for-3 with a walk, extending his seven-game hit streak. The 31-year-old slugger has quietly been one of Baltimore's most consistent bats, slashing .340/.428/.558 over 156 at-bats. His expected batting average ranks in the 99th percentile at .329, and his .523 expected slugging percentage is a career high. Fantasy managers should continue to stream O'Hearn while he's swinging a hot bat.Source: MLB.com
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Abimelec Ortiz Snaps Skid with Two-Hit Game
Abimelec Ortiz went 2-for-4 with a home run during their contest against Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday evening. Entering this contest, the No. 13-ranked prospect in the system was in a bit of a slump at the plate. Over his last five contests, he went 1-for-18 at the plate with an 8:2 K:BB. However, before this slump, Ortiz posted an impressive .425/.511/.750 slash line with three long balls over his last 10 contests. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the 23-year-old's progression as he will likely be in the mix to earn a promotion to Triple-A later this season. However, he will likely not reach the majors until the 2026 campaign. Through 41 games at Double-A, Ortiz has held a .250/.341/.438 line.Source: MiLB.com
Texas Rangers infield/outfield prospect Logan Evans Tosses Career-High Eight Innings in Third Victory

In this outing, Evans allowed just four hits and held a 4:1 K:BB. His lone blemish came on a solo shot by Washington outfielder James Wood, which was his 14th long ball of the campaign. Evans was promoted from Triple-A to fill a spot in the rotation with both Logan Gilbert (elbow) and Bryce Miller (elbow) on the injured list. Through his first 35 innings in Seattle, their No. 10-ranked prospect has posted an impressive 2.83 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP. He has struck out 25 batters and allowed 10 free passes. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he could be in danger of losing his spot in the rotation with Miller expected to return this weekend.Source: MLB.com
Seattle Mariners right-handed pitching prospect Denzel Clarke Snaps Skid on Tuesday
Denzel Clarke went 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout during their loss to the Houston Astros on Tuesday evening. This was Clarke's first career MLB hit. The Athletics promoted Clarke prior to their contest on May 22 against the Philadelphia Phillies. However, over his first three games, the outfielder went 0-for-10 at the plate with eight strikeouts. Through his first four MLB contests, the A's have given Clarke the starting nod at center field. Earlier this season at Triple-A, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the system held a .286/.436/.419 slash line with eight doubles, three triples, and seven stolen bases. Given his role as the everyday center fielder, he is worth adding in all 14+ team formats as he carries solid speed upside.Source: MLB.com
