Minnesota Twins pitcher Jhoan Duran walked and struck out a batter to secure his ninth save in Tuesday's 4-2 victory against the Tampa Bay Rays. Duran got Junior Caminero to strike out to begin the bottom of the ninth. However, he spent 14 pitches over his next two at-bats to Jonathan Aranda (single) and Chandler Simpson (ground out) before Jose Caballero flied out to send everyone home. The 27-year-old didn't have the easiest time getting through his appearance, but has pitched a scoreless outing 14 of the last 15 times he's toed the rubber. The Dominican Republic native holds a stellar 1.07 ERA and 1.11 WHIP with a 30:11 K:BB ratio (25 1/3 innings) and has some of the best expected metrics of his career.--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jordan Romano picked up his seventh save in Tuesday's 2-0 win over the Atlanta Braves. The veteran was summoned in the ninth inning to protect a two-run lead and needed just 11 pitches (eight strikes) to retire the side. It was a nice rebound for him after yielding three hits and three earned runs in his last appearance against the Athletics. Romano's ERA sits at a ghastly 7.65, but he's been better in May than he was in April and boasts a much more palatable 3.47 xERA. Despite the bloated statistics, he's pitching at a higher level than in 2024 -- sporting significant decreases in average exit velocity (87.9 MPH) and hard-hit rate (35.8%). Furthermore, his strikeout percentage has climbed back up to his career norms (28.7%).--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Detroit Tigers reliever Will Vest allowed two hits and one earned run in his team's 3-1 home win over the San Francisco Giants. Vest struck out one to lock down his seventh save of the season. The 29-year-old was called upon to protect a 3-0 lead in the top of the ninth inning and promptly yielded a Heliot Ramos single, who was able to come home a batter later when Wilmer Flores doubled him in. However, he'd mostly settle in afterward -- inducing Jung Hoo Lee and Matt Chapman into a fly-out and foul-out before punching out Willy Adames to end the threat. It was Vest's first earned run in just under a month as he's been excellent thus far, sporting a superb 1.73 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 28:9 K:BB ratio over 26 innings pitched (24 appearances).--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Michael Conforto went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a single in Tuesday's 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians. The Seattle native also walked and struck out in the contest. Conforto homered off Guardians pitcher Hunter Gaddis in the top of the sixth inning to increase LA's lead to 5-3 -- a 406-foot bomb that left the bat at 105.9 MPH. It was his third long ball of the season, and first since Apr. 5. The Oregon State product was abysmal in April (.123), and hasn't been much better in May (.194). Since kicking off 2025 with a .368 through the first six games, he hasn't eclipsed the .200 mark since Apr. 19.--Alex CiullaSource: ESPN

Los Angeles Dodgers veteran third baseman Max Muncy launched his fourth home run of the season on Tuesday, helping the Dodgers to a 9-5 win over the Cleveland Guardians. Muncy capped the victory with a 403-foot, three-run blast in the ninth inning. The 34-year-old also added a single, finishing 2-for-4 with an additional run scored and a walk. Muncy has seen lower production than he's used to this season, slashing just .212/.337/.345 with a .682 OPS in 51 games. He will look to build on this performance and regain his usual form in a potent Dodgers lineup.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Cleveland Guardians infielder Daniel Schneemann blasted his seventh home run of the season in Tuesday's 9-5 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. The three-run shot brought his team within one run before the Dodgers eventually pulled away. Schneemann finished 1-for-2 on the night and was replaced by Will Wilson in the bottom of the seventh inning. The 28-year-old is now slashing .250/.331/.474 in his first full season as a pro, registering a solid .805 OPS and .352 wOBA. He will look to continue his solid production as he settles into his everyday role, and the Guardians aim to stay afloat in the AL Central.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Philadelphia Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez (4-0) continued his strong start Tuesday night, tossing six shutout innings in a 2-0 win over the Braves. The 29-year-old struck out a season-high eight batters, allowing four hits and three walks in Tuesday's victory. Suárez picked up his fourth win of the season and remains undefeated in 2025. He now owns a 2.97 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 31 strikeouts over 30 ⅓ innings. His 9.20 K/9 is a career high, showcasing increased swing-and-miss ability as he solidifies his role in the Phillies' rotation atop the NL East. Suarez will look to keep things rolling in his next start on Sunday against the Milwaukee Brewers.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Lars Nootbaar found solid production at the top of the lineup in a 7-4 victory over the Baltimore Orioles on Tuesday. After a single to start the game, Nootbaar crushed a 388-foot two-run homer in his second at-bat for his eighth home run of the season. The 27-year-old also added a single in the seventh, finishing 3-for-4 with an additional run scored and a walk. Nootbaar is now slashing .249/.354/.411 in his fifth season with the Cardinals and has shown increased power, sitting six home runs shy of his career high of 14.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Baltimore Orioles outfielder Ryan O'Hearn blasted his ninth home run of the season in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the St. Louis Cardinals. The three-run shot traveled 405 feet at 106.1 mph and briefly gave the Orioles a 4-3 lead. O'Hearn finished 1-for-3 with a walk, extending his seven-game hit streak. The 31-year-old slugger has quietly been one of Baltimore's most consistent bats, slashing .340/.428/.558 over 156 at-bats. His expected batting average ranks in the 99th percentile at .329, and his .523 expected slugging percentage is a career high. Fantasy managers should continue to stream O'Hearn while he's swinging a hot bat.--Julian Brooke - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Texas Rangers infield/outfield prospect Abimelec Ortiz went 2-for-4 with a home run during their contest against Double-A Amarillo on Tuesday evening. Entering this contest, the No. 13-ranked prospect in the system was in a bit of a slump at the plate. Over his last five contests, he went 1-for-18 at the plate with an 8:2 K:BB. However, before this slump, Ortiz posted an impressive .425/.511/.750 slash line with three long balls over his last 10 contests. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the 23-year-old's progression as he will likely be in the mix to earn a promotion to Triple-A later this season. However, he will likely not reach the majors until the 2026 campaign. Through 41 games at Double-A, Ortiz has held a .250/.341/.438 line.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MiLB.com

Seattle Mariners right-handed pitching prospect Logan Evans tossed eight innings of one-run ball on Tuesday evening en route to picking up his third victory of the campaign, against the Washington Nationals. In this outing, Evans allowed just four hits and held a 4:1 K:BB. His lone blemish came on a solo shot by Washington outfielder James Wood, which was his 14th long ball of the campaign. Evans was promoted from Triple-A to fill a spot in the rotation with both Logan Gilbert (elbow) and Bryce Miller (elbow) on the injured list. Through his first 35 innings in Seattle, their No. 10-ranked prospect has posted an impressive 2.83 ERA with a 1.26 WHIP. He has struck out 25 batters and allowed 10 free passes. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor his status as he could be in danger of losing his spot in the rotation with Miller expected to return this weekend.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Athletics outfield prospect Denzel Clarke went 1-for-3 with a single and a strikeout during their loss to the Houston Astros on Tuesday evening. This was Clarke's first career MLB hit. The Athletics promoted Clarke prior to their contest on May 22 against the Philadelphia Phillies. However, over his first three games, the outfielder went 0-for-10 at the plate with eight strikeouts. Through his first four MLB contests, the A's have given Clarke the starting nod at center field. Earlier this season at Triple-A, the No. 5-ranked prospect in the system held a .286/.436/.419 slash line with eight doubles, three triples, and seven stolen bases. Given his role as the everyday center fielder, he is worth adding in all 14+ team formats as he carries solid speed upside.--Andy Smith - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

Chicago White Sox infielder Miguel Vargas had a big night in his team's 6-4 loss to the New York Mets on Tuesday. Vargas went 2-for-5 with a double, a homer, and three RBI in the loss. The veteran infielder plated the first runs of the game with his two-run homer off Mets starter Tylor Megill in the first inning. He later came back and added an RBI double in the seventh inning. Vargas is now hitting .244 with 14 doubles, eight homers, 24 runs, 26 RBI, and one steal as one of the few bright spots in the Chicago batting order this season. He has been on a tear of late, with six homers and 14 RBI over his past 15 contests.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com

New York Mets DH Jared Young had a big night in his team's 6-4 win over the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday. Young went 2-for-3 with a double, a homer, and two RBI before getting lifted for pinch-hitter Starling Marte in the eighth inning. The 29-year-old has appeared in four games this season, picking up two hits in eight at-bats. He will look to continue to carve out playing time for the Mets going forward.--Matt T - RotoBallerSource: MLB.com
