Chase Briscoe (somewhat surprisingly) won the pole for this weekend's Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, edging out Kyle Larson by two one-hundredths of a second in qualifying on Saturday afternoon. This is Briscoe's second Crown Jewel pole of the season (he also started first for the Daytona 500) but now the question becomes, can he stay up there during the race itself? We've seen the No. 19 Toyota put on dominating efforts at Charlotte in the past, but that was with Martin Truex Jr behind the wheel. Briscoe was just 23rd-fastest in practice this weekend and has only led laps on superspeedway race tracks this season. With Kyle Larson starting on the outside pole, and with how fast that No. 5 Chevrolet has been on intermediate tracks this season, it's very possible that we see Briscoe slip back from the lead early, although his Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota could still run with the leaders. However, from a DFS perspective, it may be best to stay away from Briscoe ($8,400 on DraftKings) because of the high possibility of negative Place Differential points, and no guarantee of dominator FPTS with Larson starting out front as well. --Jordan McAbee
