Bryce Miller Returning to the Starting Rotation Saturday
Bryce Miller (elbow) is expected to make his return from the injured list and start Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports. Miller was put on the injured list May 14 with elbow inflammation, and it seems the Mariners will opt out of requiring a rehab assignment for him and immediately plug him back into the rotation. It's unclear if the 26-year-old will have any workload limitations Saturday, but fantasy managers should consider that as they decide whether or not to start him. Miller will take on a Twins offense that's struggled a bit lately as he tries to improve his 5.22 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, and 35:21 K:BB on the season. Miller will take Logan Evans' spot in the rotation, as the Mariners optioned Evans to Triple-A Tacoma on Wednesday.
