According to the team, the Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms on an undisclosed contract with free-agent defensive back Ryan Cooper Jr. The 23-year-old was an undrafted free agent in 2024 with the Baltimore Ravens, where he appeared in one game, spending most of the season on the team's practice squad. Following the campaign, he signed a reserve/futures contract with the Seahawks, but Miami scooped him up off waivers in late February. Cooper was a two-year starter at the College of San Mateo, but spent his final two collegiate seasons at Oregon State (2022-23). He appeared in 23 games there, recording 82 tackles (52 solo), 1.5 sacks, four interceptions, and 22 passes defensed. If he makes the team, it's likely to be as a depth piece.--Alex Ciulla
