4 years agoGreen Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst told reporters at his pre-draft press conference that quarterback Aaron Rodgers is their guy. "He's our quarterback for the foreseeable future," Gutekunst said. Rodgers currently has three years left on his deal and will count $37.202 million against this year's salary cap, so the Packers have been trying to restructure the 2020 MVP's contract. Rogers lit it up last year, throwing for 4,299 yards, 48 touchdowns and five interceptions in the regular season, so of course the Packers are sticking with him as he enters his age-38 campaign. Green Bay shocked everyone when they traded up to take quarterback Jordan Love in the first round last season, but he's at least another year or two away from being ready to take over. Rodgers was a draft steal in 2020, but he'll cost a pretty penny heading into the 2021 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
