Green Bay Packers general manager Brian Gutekunst said that "I would certainly expect us to do so," when asked about cornerback Jaire Alexander's fifth-year option for the 2022 season. It comes as no surprise after Alexander made his first Pro Bowl and earned second-team All-Pro honors in 2020. The question now becomes do the Packers look to sign him to a long-term extension? The 24-year-old was the No. 18 overall pick in the 2018 draft. Alexander has 151 tackles, four interceptions, 41 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries in 44 career games (42 starts) in his three seasons with the Packers. He has quickly helped the Packers secondary become one of the better units in the league.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
