New York Yankees third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a homer, a walk, and two runs scored in a 6-3 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Cabrera launched a solo homer off Tampa starter Taj Bradley in the fifth inning to cut the Rays' lead to 3-2. The veteran infielder has been productive in a part-time role in the early portion of the season, hitting .308 with one homer, six runs, and five RBI across 39 at-bats. Despite his solid batting average, Cabrera isn't providing much power while hitting at the bottom of the team's lineup most days.--Matt Terelle
