No Injury Designation For Julio Jones
3 years agoTennessee Titans wide receiver Julio Jones (hamstring) doesn't carry an injury designation on the final report for Thursday's game against the San Francisco 49ers, so he will play in Week 16. Jones was a DNP on Monday and Tuesday, but he returned to a full practice on Wednesday. The 32-year-old has missed more time this year with lower-body injuries and already had a stint on Injured Reserve due to a hamstring injury, so most folks weren't expecting him to play, especially on a short week after leaving the game this past Sunday. It turns out the injury wasn't too serious. Jones has yet to find the end zone in his first season with the Titans and will be a low-upside, injury prone WR4/flex this week. He'll see even fewer targets if A.J. Brown (chest) returns from IR to play Thursday, too, as is expected.
