Nick Chubb Impressive In Week 7
Nick Chubb made the most of his first opportunity to operate as the team's lead back. Chubb carried the ball 18 times for 80 yards and a touchdown in a Week 7 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The rookie runner looked quick and powerful in the game, breaking tackles and ripping off large runs against Tampa Bay. His score came on a one-yard rush up the middle in the fourth quarter. With former starter Carlos Hyde now a Jacksonville Jaguar, Chubb will continue to see the majority of the carries for Cleveland going forward. He will look to score again in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, where he will be a solid RB2.
