Myles Straw's Offense Has Stalled
3 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Myles Straw will start and hit eighth Tuesday against the Mariners. The 26-year-old is 4-for-24 (.166) over the last week and is slugging an anemic .189 over his last 15 games. Straw became a pleasant surprise in the month of June, hitting .330 with 11 runs batted in and 17 runs score spanning 26 games. The league has adjusted to Straw's tendencies and his offensive surge at the plate has stalled. Straw is strong defensively but untrustworthy in any fantasy format at this time.
