Toronto Maple Leafs right wing Mitchell Marner will be rested for Sunday's matchup against Detroit, meaning he will miss his first game of the season. Defenseman Mark Giordano and Jake McCabe will also be kept out of the lineup. According to reports, Marner is dealing with some bumps and bruises, so he isn't completely healthy, but it's safe to assume he would've played if this game actually meant much to Toronto. The team has already locked up a playoff spot and is just waiting for the start of the postseason. Marner has enjoyed a very productive 95-point campaign, recording 28 goals and 67 assists in 75 appearances.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
