Miles Sanders Faces Uphill Battle For Relevancy In 2025
Dallas Cowboys running back Miles Sanders has a massive uphill battle on his hands to get enough volume, at his very poor efficiency -- to make a fantasy football impact in 2025. After two terrible seasons with the Carolina Panthers, he's not in a much better situation this year. Many might find this surprising, but Carolina had a very good run-blocking offensive line in 2024, which aided RB Chuba Hubbard in his success there. Sanders will have to fend off rookies Jaydon Blue and Phil Mafah, as well. Blue is a very adept route-runner and pass-catcher as an RB, which especially doesn't help Sanders. It's hard to see Blue not getting a role on passing downs, with Mafah competing with Williams and Sanders for the early-down and goal-line roles. Sanders proved with the Panthers in 2024 that he couldn't succeed even in a pretty good situation, so he should be ignored in all formats.
