Miles Sanders Carted Off The Field Sunday
Miles Sanders (ankle) was carted off the field and taken to the locker room after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter of the Week 7 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He's officially questionable to return. Sanders had six carries for 30 yards and caught his only target for minus-three yards before leaving the game with what could be a serious ankle injury. Rookie Kenneth Gainwell, who has been backing up Sanders all year, caught a 13-yard touchdown pass for the game's first score. The rookie would become an immediate priority waiver-wire addition heading into Week 8 if Sanders' injury is serious enough to cause him to miss any time. With the Eagles often abandoning their running game early on, Sanders has been a huge fantasy disappointment up to this point in the season. Boston Scott should see an expanded role for the rest of the game if Sanders doesn't return.
