2 years agoSan Francisco Giants outfielder Mike Yastrzemski (knee) is back in the Cactus League lineup on Friday against the Colorado Rockies, starting in center field and batting leadoff. The Giants held Yastrzemski out of the spring lineup the last two days with some minor right knee soreness, but he's back in there for the weekend. In his fourth MLB season for the Giants last year, Yaz slashed .214/.305/.392 with a career-low .697 OPS, 17 home runs, 57 RBI, 73 runs scored and a career-high five stolen bases in 558 plate appearances and 148 games. The 32-year-old will be in the lineup against right-handers, but he has come back to Earth the last two years and also isn't in the best home hitting environment in San Fran.
