The Los Angeles Chargers placed starting center Mike Pouncey (hip) on Injured Reserve on Thursday, and he will miss the rest of the season because he'll need hip surgery. The Pro Bowl center injured himself prior to the season opener against the Bengals. The 31-year-old played in just five games for the Chargers last season because of injury. His absence the rest of the year is bad news for a Chargers offense that looked sluggish in the Week 1 win over Cincinnati. In Week 2 against the division-rival Chiefs and last year's Super Bowl champions, defensive tackle Chris Jones could wreak havoc in LA's backfield with Pouncey out of commission.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
