Calgary Flames forward Mikael Backlund registered two goals and added an assist as his team took down the visiting Vegas Golden Knights by the score of 6-3 on Sunday evening. Despite having gone pointless in each of his past three contests, Backlund's productive Sunday night capped off a 12-game stretch in which the Swede registered 12 points (six goals, six assists) to go along with a plus-seven rating and 38 shots. The 29-year-old's numbers aren't likely to grab fantasy headlines (42 points, plus-31 rating, 165 shots) but he's certainly proving that he's worth owning in the short-term in redraft leagues. With a matchup against the Devils on Tuesday, Backlund looks to be a strong streaming option at the very least. --Chase Davis - RotoBaller
