Miguel Sano Goes Yard For First Time This Season
Miguel Sano went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks and a solo homer. Sano's homer was his first of the season, a 404-foot blast that left his bat at an exit velocity of 107.3 MPH. The 27-year-old third baseman has been in the midst of a slump, though he's now put together two straight games of great at-bats, with four walks and a homer in his last two contests combined. Sano will get a Friday matchup against Angels' left-hander Andrew Heaney, who has surrendered a career 8.3 percent barrel rate.
