Michael McGreevy Sent Back To Triple-A
Michael McGreevy back to Triple-A Memphis. In a corresponding move, the Cardinals promoted right-handed pitcher Gordon Graceffo. McGreevy was promoted prior to Sunday's doubleheader against the New York Mets. He was deployed in a long relief role in Game 2 and looked quite sharp as he logged five 2/3 innings of one-hit ball. He served up just one walk and struck out five. McGreevy also performed well during his first taste of the major leagues in 2024, when he posted a 1.96 ERA and a 0.78 WHIP across 23 innings. During this stretch, he struck out 18 batters and held a near-perfect 2.3 percent walk rate. Fantasy managers should expect the No. 11-ranked prospect in the system to return to the majors later this summer.
