Michael McDowell is one of the most consistent drivers to finish solidly at Daytona and do not expect this week to be any different. In 19 career starts at the site, McDowell has 11 top-15 finishes with positive place differential including each of his last four races. Since 2019 at superspeedway tracks, the driver of the No. 34 Ford has five top-15 finishes and led a lap in three starts last year. McDowell will start 17th after finishing ninth in his Bluegreen Vacation Duel race. As an experienced racer with a dependable record of good finishes and decent equipment, McDowell is a driver who will finish in the Top 15 with a chance at a top-10 finish.
