Michael A. Taylor Not In Friday's Lineup
3 years agoKansas City Royals outfielder Michael A. Taylor (wrist) is not in the starting lineup on Friday against the Detroit Tigers after he left early on Wednesday with left wrist soreness. It's unclear if he'll need an injured list stint, but fantasy managers in deeper leagues should prepare for him to be out for at least another game or two, if not more. The 30-year-old power-speed threat is hitting .244/.303/.360 this year with eight home runs, 38 runs, 33 RBI and six stolen bases in 283 at-bats. With regular playing time, he's attractive in deep mixed leagues. Jarrod Dyson is starting in center field on Friday and is batting eighth against Tigers right-hander Wily Peralta. Dyson has some speed (seven stolen bases), but if you're looking for more daily upside, he's not your guy. The 36-year-old is hitting .238 (20-for-84) with no homers and only seven RBI.
