Melvin Gordon III Held Out Of End Zone
Melvin Gordon III carried the ball just eight times for 26 yards and caught four of his six targets for an additional 12 yards in the Week 3 loss to the Buccaneers. The Broncos weren't able to get anything going on offense under backup quarterback Jeff Driskel and were playing from behind all day, which led to single-digit carries for Gordon. He was more involved in the passing game, but Gordon still disappointed his fantasy managers in this tough matchup. Things will get a lot easier this Thursday against the winless Jets, but Denver's offense doesn't have much upside as long as Drew Lock (shoulder) remains sidelined.
