Matt Olson Homers, Doubles in Loss on Thursday
Matt Olson had a productive night in an 8-7 loss to the Washington Nationals in 10 innings on Thursday. Olson went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, two runs, and two RBI, but it wasn't enough in the close loss. The veteran infielder kicked off the scoring in the game with a solo homer in the first inning and later came back and added an RBI double to tie the game at 7-7 in the ninth and send it into extra innings. Olson is putting together a solid season, hitting .250 with nine doubles, 11 homers, 29 runs, and 28 RBI across 180 at-bats. He's been on fire of late, hitting .414 with four homers and seven RBI in his past seven contests.
