Mark Trumbo Plates Two Runs Tuesday
7 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder/designated hitter Mark Trumbo went 1-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a walk, and a strikeout in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Red Sox. The double ended a four-game hitless streak for Trumbo, who has been ice cold in June, hitting just .135 with two extra-base hits in 37 at-bats. He is now hitting .254 on the season with three home runs and eight doubles in 33 games. While the doubles are nice, Trumbo has not provided the power that has made him fantasy relevant in the past. With power relatively easy to find on the waiver wire, he is only worth a roster spot in deeper leagues or five-outfielder leagues at this time.
