Mark Canha Remains Out Against Marlins
1 year agoMilwaukee Brewers outfielder Mark Canha (wrist) remains out of action on Thursday with the team taking on the visiting Miami Marlins. Canha received a cortisone injection in his sore left wrist on Wednesday and will continue to be held out until he feels better. He should be considered day-to-day for now, and the hope is that the 34-year-old will be able to return at some point this weekend for a series against the Washington Nationals. With Canha out again, third baseman Josh Donaldson is serving as the designated hitter and is batting fifth for the Brew Crew. Since joining Milwaukee in a midseason trade from the New York Mets, Canha has played well, going 37-for-122 (.303) with four home runs, 21 RBI and 18 runs in 36 games.
