3 years agoThe Seattle Mariners will recall outfielder Jarred Kelenic from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday to join the team for the start of the second half of the season. Kelenic, the No. 4 overall prospect per MLB Pipeline, had been swinging a hot bat since being sent back down in early June. The 21-year-old was hitting .320/.392/.624 with nine home runs, 29 runs scored, 28 RBI and six stolen bases in seven attempts in 30 games for Tacoma. In his first 92 plate appearances at the big league level earlier this season, Kelenic struggled, going 8-for-83 (.096) with two homers, six RBI, three stolen bases and 26 strikeouts. But because of his five-category upside from the left side of the plate, he deserves to be added once again in most fantasy formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
