2 years agoSan Diego Padres third baseman Manny Machado has gone 12-for-30 over the last seven games after a stretch that saw him go 1-for-11 in his first three games off the injured list. He has raised his batting average 27 points to .249 (49-for-197) and his OPS 54 points to .682 over the last seven games. The 30-year-old six-time All-Star missed some time recently with a small fracture in his hand, but he's back now and is starting to swing a hot bat after an extremely slow start to the 2023 season. Machado remains a must-start in fantasy lineups when he's on the field, but his nine doubles, six home runs, 21 RBI and 25 runs scored in 50 games aren't what we were expecting.
