Rocco Becht to Follow Matt Campbell to Penn State?
Iowa State transfer quarterback Rocco Becht is set to visit Penn State in the coming days, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel. His former head coach, Matt Campbell, is now the head coach at Penn State, so it would come as no surprise if he lands in State College after officially entering the transfer portal on Friday. Becht played in 42 games for the Cyclones over the last four seasons, tallying 9,274 passing yards, 64 passing touchdowns, and 27 interceptions. He's a capable runner, too, totaling 499 rushing yards and 19 scores. Penn State will need to be aggressive in the transfer portal to be competitive in 2026, and adding a veteran with experience in Campbell's program would be a great first step in fielding a viable team right away.
