Former Texas Running Back CJ Baxter Visiting Kentucky
According to ESPN's Pete Thamel, Texas running back transfer CJ Baxter is visiting Kentucky after entering the transfer portal. Baxter is a former five-star running back recruit out of Orlando, and he tallied 192 carries for 855 yards and five touchdowns in 22 career games with the Longhorns. He pitched in 36 receptions, 197 yards, and a touchdown as a receiver. New Kentucky head coach Will Stein is looking to bring a productive and explosive offense with him from Oregon, something that has been missing in Lexington for a long time. Although Baxter hasn't lived up to his prospect ranking, he's a talented ball carrier and would be a great get for the Wildcats.
