Falcons Have Requested an Interview With Klint Kubiak
The Atlanta Falcons have requested an interview with Seahawks offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak for their recently vacated head-coaching job, according to NFL insider Tom Pelissero. Atlanta fired second-year head coach Raheem Morris on Monday after finishing the season on a four-game win streak. Kubiak, in his first year at the helm of Seattle's offense, has seen quarterback Sam Darnold named to his second consecutive Pro Bowl. Meanwhile, Jaxon Smith-Njigba's 1,793 receiving yards led all NFL receivers, and the Seahawks enter the playoffs as the NFC's number one seed. Kubiak has had previous stints as the Saints' offensive coordinator in 2024 and San Francisco's passing game coordinator in 2023, and he will likely be one of the hottest names in this year's hiring cycle.
