Luke Voit Spotted Running On The Field On Thursday
Luke Voit (oblique) was seen running on the field prior to Thursday's afternoon game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Voit was diagnosed with a Grade 2 oblique strain and is expected to be sidelined for at least another 10 days or so. However, it's good news to see that he's already able to do a light workout on the field. Voit has only managed to play in 12 games so far this year. Over that 12-game stretch, he has a .182/.280/.250 slash line with one home run, three RBI and four runs. DJ LeMahieu will continue to be the team's primary first baseman while Voit is out.
