Athletics right-hander Luis Severino (oblique) will come off the 15-day injured list to start Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals. It'll be the first start since Aug. 5 for Severino, who has missed just under a month with a strained left oblique. In his first season with the A's, the 31-year-old has gone 6-11 with a disappointing 4.82 ERA, a 1.34 WHIP, and 103:44 K:BB across 24 starts and 136 1/3 innings. Severino has been markedly better on the road (3.17 ERA) than at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento, where he has pitched to an awful 6.34 ERA. Fortunately for Severino, he'll be in St. Louis on Tuesday and facing a mediocre offense that ranks 16th in the majors in runs and 23rd in OPS.--Connor Byrne
