Lou Anarumo Expected to Receive Interest for Giants Head-Coaching Vacancy
Indianapolis Colts defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo is expected to receive strong consideration for the New York Giants' head-coaching vacancy this upcoming cycle, a league source told NFL insider Josina Anderson. Anarumo has familiarity and a relationship with current general manager Joe Schoen, but it remains to be seen how much that connection will influence the team's ownership. The Giants fired former head coach Brian Daboll in the middle of the 2025 season, and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka has taken over as the interim head coach. The G-Men also just fired their defensive coordinator and could be looking for a defensive-minded head coach in the upcoming coaching cycle. Anarumo has put his name on the map for a head-coaching job next year after improving Indy's defense in his first year with the team in 2025.
