Lamar Jackson Now Dealing With a Toe Injury
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson (toe) was listed as a non-participant on Monday on the team's estimated practice report due to a new toe injury, according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. Although the Ravens are likely just resting Jackson, it's not what fantasy managers want to see. The 28-year-old two-time MVP has been listed on the team's injury report for the last two weeks with minor ankle and knee injuries, and now he's working through a toe ailment. Baltimore was able to beat the New York Jets on Sunday, but it was another quiet game for Jackson, as he went 13-for-23 passing for 153 yards without a touchdown or interception. He added only 11 rushing yards on seven carries. In the last three games, Jackson has one touchdown pass and two interceptions. It's possible that his lower-body injuries -- he also missed a few games with a hamstring injury -- have taken their toll. Jackson has a plus matchup this Thursday against the Bengals if he plays, but his lack of rushing numbers this year has hurt his overall QB1 upside.
