Chris Bell Out for Rivalry Matchup Against Kentucky
Louisville wide receiver Chris Bell will not play in the Week 14 rivalry matchup against Kentucky, according to head coach Jeff Brohm. The senior has been the Cardinals' most productive receiver this season, collecting 72 receptions for 917 yards and six touchdowns. His absence does not appear to be injury-related, so it appears Bell is opting out to prepare for the 2026 NFL Draft. Bell is a potential Day 1 or Day 2 pick in April's draft. With Louisville out of contention for a conference championship, they'll now be without their best pass-catcher. We can safely assume Bell won't play in Louisville's bowl game, so he finishes his collegiate career with 151 catches for 2,166 yards and 12 touchdowns in 47 games with the program.
