Leonard Fournette Doesn't Practice Wednesday
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (ankle, hamstring) did not take part in the team's walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Fournette is expected to miss a game or two, but head coach Bruce Arians said it's too soon to tell if Fournette will need to go on Injured Reserve, which would knock him out until the playoffs. Don't expect him to practice or play in Week 16 against the Carolina Panthers. Ronald Jones saw eight carries and ran for 63 yards in the Week 15 loss to the New Orleans Saints when Fournette went down with the injury. He will be the team's lead back for however long Fournette is sidelined, and he's the No. 1 waiver-wire priority this week with RB1 upside immediately this weekend.
