Lane Johnson Won't Need Surgery
4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles right tackle Lane Johnson (ankle) has gathered more opinions on his ankle injury and there has been no talk of surgery or shutting him down, according to sources. It's a matter of him resting and fighting his way through the nagging injury. Johnson was injured in Week 4 but managed to play 66 percent of the offensive snaps in the Week 5 loss to the Steelers. However, his availability for Week 6 against the Ravens is unknown. If Johnson is forced to sit out this week or is limited in any way, rookie Jack Driscoll will step in at right tackle. Against a very strong Ravens Defense, this will be something to watch ahead of Sunday's game.
