Landen Roupp Evens Record at 4-4 with Victory Against Braves
Landen Roupp allowed five hits and three earned runs over six innings pitched in Sunday's 4-3 win against the Atlanta Braves. He struck out two and walked two to notch his sixth quality start in 13 appearances. The UNC Wilmington alum registered just three swings-and-misses in this one, which is unusual for him, considering his curveball had a greater than 40% whiff rate on the season. Still, he notched his seventh straight start yielding three earned runs or fewer. Roupp has been a pleasant surprise in 2025, limiting hard-hit balls at a top 7% rate in the league. Furthermore, he's dropped the average exit velocity against him nearly two ticks to an excellent 87.3 MPH. He'll square off against a dangerous Los Angeles Dodgers lineup the next time he gets the nod.
